1M Clone is going to SEMA 2017! AutoCon NY/Tenafly CnC Coverage
As the title states, the 1er will be attending SEMA 2017! The car was selected at AutoCon NY this past weekend, and it will be competing in the Battle of the Builders (Young Guns). Very excited to see the other builds out there! I'd like to give a BIG thanks to this 1addicts community. Lots of inspiration and information, and the car would not be what it is today if it wasn't for this community!
Never expected this to happen, as I was completely unaware of the competition in the first place. The 1er is definitely no show car status compared to other cars at the show, but it'll teach me to even have more attention to detail! The car will be representing Peaches and Sons. Please do check them out, they have some really neat apparel! Peaches. It was a pretty hectic weekend as I got a bunch of photos in, met some awesome people, and did some photoshoots as well! Enjoy! Warning, lots of pictures!!! AutoCon NY 2017 BMW Tenafly Cars and Coffee 1M/FZ8 Shoot Last edited by nacaruh; 06-12-2017 at 01:24 AM.. |

Thank you!
Haha I'm not the biggest fan of that excessive camber, but I did appreciate the amount of work that was put in. I mean 90% of the cars there were in PRISTINE condition. And everybody's got different tastes! |

I subscribe to the less is more philosophy. I'm not crazy about the excessive camber either. But what really ruins many of those cars is the need to slap on what amounts to aluminum/vinyl siding on the fenders and thinking that looks good. For a race car it's not a big deal as looks are not much of a concern hence the raw look. But these are street cars which will never see track time or can even exist on the track the way they're set up. To me if you want the wide fender look at least spend the extra effort and blend in the seams and hide the rivet/bolt holes.

Awesome pics! Your car is looking great for sure! I could do without the excessive camber as well but def some wicked cars in the shots.
