Nav pop-up

Can you drive the car with the nav screen folded down or does it automatically go up/down when the car is on/off? If it can be put down, what functionality is still available? It seems with voice command you should still be able to do almost everything.

I think the dash looks cleaner with it down and no distracting screen at night.

theres a button u press to shut the thing down if you dont want it sticking up. voice command still works no problem.
