Ahhhhhh, finally!

I guarantee that someone is going to come on here and say that they threw the quads on there because Scott told someone that we were bitching too much, haha.

It's a 135is!!! The quads were put to throw people off
As a matter of fact, the passenger side exhaust pipes are actually part of the camo paint/vinyl

If you're looking for a pure performance car, you're looking at the wrong brand.

maybe you are correct but I love the M heritage; it is just a little ironic that we all want this car to be lighter but yet most of us want quad exhaust ????? I agree that it looks cool but I would prefer some more weight loss obsession

Seriously, how much weight would it have saved? We've made the threads. The weight could be lost elsewhere. The loss of the sunroof should be good for 60lbs. Part of why BMW is so great is their marketing. You really can't have every single M car having quads and 1 that doesn't right now. My .02. Its as simple as that.

Wow, that's funny. I wonder why most car magazines and experts consider the M3 the best performance sedan in the world. They must all be getting paid to say that from BMW.

Awesome. The complete M3 rear end is great at throwing everyone off too. Of yea, and the M3 brakes, M3 front suspension, wheels that mimic the M3 competition package, M3 seats, steering wheel, new front fenders, etc.....

If BMW ever wanted to fool all of us this is an "is" and not a M1, they are doing a great job. Everything on it is from "M".

Huh?

VintageBMW: Wish the car was lighter.
Me: Well this isn't a pure performance brand.
You: BTW, M3 Sedan is best performance sedan say the experts.

WTF does that have to do with anything here???? Yes, M3 sedan is a great performance sedan, but it is also a porky pig with supple leather seats, so it is not a pure performance car....

Most of us agree with your statement of it being the best but an M3 is not a pure sports car. Its 3600lbs and has almost every creature comfort known to man. A pure sports car would be along the lines of Lotus Elise or similar. Something hardcore and more track orientated.
