switch amber for clear headlights on ED?
I wonder, if one found someone in euro that wanted the beautiful USA amber headlamps, and was willing to swap with someone that had their car there on an ED, if that would violate some law? Could the USA dealer still deliver your car? Ditto for other cool stuff (M-sport package, e.g.)?

Especially nowadays, since 9/11 they REALLY scrutinize used cars that are coming into the U.S. from abroad. |

Actually, I asked a few people whose cars were in for service about this when I was over in Munich, at the Niederlassung dealership. http://www.bmwcca.org/Roundel/1999/0799fea.htm They either looked at me funny, thought I was crazy, or flat out just ignored me & walked away. |

I actually like the the amber in my headlights. But with alpine white I think it provides some needed color there. I think the car would look too aneamic with clear. IMO

amber is such a joykill.
Just glancing at a euro e90 and a US e90 the euro just look so much more cleaner. The amber takes away from the car. While it seems most people except them Im not sure anyone would really opt for the ambers if they had a choice of clears at the snap of a finger. |
