clicking sound when turning?

Have noticed a clicking sound when turning left and right, sounds like it's coming from the front wheels, did a search and a few people have had similar issues and it's turned out to be wheel bearings.

I took the car into the dealership to get it checked and they have told me it's the brakes, apparently it's a common issue with the floating calipers and there is no fix for it, does the 135i even have floating calipers for a start and anyone else had this issue?

Stock 135i has both fixed rotors and fixed calipers. Your service adviser needs to try again.

Believe it or not, the front rotors on the 135i are two piece. You can see what looks like round plugs around the rotor hat that holds the ring to the hat. I wouldn't necessarily call them "floating" like some aftermarket setups, and you cannot replace the ring by itself, but it does help with heat expansion. That being said, most people have found that removing the front wheels, cleaning the mounting surfaces with a wire brush and re-torquing the front lug nuts will silence the clicking.

I had the same issue. Would only show up when making a hard right at 25+ miles an hour.
They said they couldn't do anything about it. A couple of months later I got new rotors and pads and the sound was gone. Don't know if it has to do with them just cleaning something or because of the new equipment. Also check the dust brake shield for play/spacing to rotor or strut or take it off completely and see if that helps.

Read this thread: http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showt...=996678&page=2

I had the exact "clicking" sound as per the youtube clip.
I removed both rear wheels and sprayed a decent amount of INOX MX3 in and around the shaft bolt.
Clean off all the rust around the hub lip and anywhere else I could see rust.
Then I used a waterproof lubricant (Luberex) similar to LM grease but much better, and lubed all the areas where the wheel comes in contact with the hub etc.
You must lube the lug bolts all the way up to the bevel.

NO MORE CLICKING!!
