BC ER coilovers

Have had these on for 80,000 klms but one let go today. They dont work very well without any fluid.

Totally quiet and reliable up to this point. Not sure what caused it until they come of tomorrow.

Fortunately I live close to Murray Coote so plan to have him rebuild both the fronts and do the same once the rears deteriorate

I used to distribute for BC and would definitely not recommend ER for street use. They are not as reliable as BR series and evident through the low sales I made from ER. Basically sold ER series as track only coilover.

Good thing is BC has fully customisable spring rates and can be rebuilt fairly cheap!

I guess "harshness" can be very subjective. I initially thought ER was too firm but have become quite used to it after 25k km of road and track use. But each to their own.

IMO ERs ride better than BRs (when set up properly) and would recommend it over the BRs for the extra $400.

No problems for street use. As noted, i have done 80 000 klms on them and Im old. There range of adjustment was quite broad.

ER are the way to go, the only failures i have seen are when the canister gets knocked. I would say ER are the best all rounder.

Let him know once I got my new car March next year, I will take mine up. He would be very busy with WTAC at the moment.
