Brake pad replacement for 135
Been reading lots of post here and can't really get a sense for which pads people prefer.
I am a very agressive driver. However, I would like something with less dust. I am open to suggestions. |

I think Cool Carbon is quite popular

cool carbons for DD + moderate track abuse - least dust
Ferrado DS2500 for DD + decent track abuse - more dust than cool carbons but less than oe pads

We sell both brands- Stoptech is slightly less than OE- Cool Carbon is much less after being fully bedded

Stoptech Street Performance is not a dustless pad(dustless pads usually don't stop the car well), it is less than OEM, but likely more than CC. However, Stoptech comes in a lower price point and provides equal or better performance on your money spent.

Stoptech pads are also about halfway between OE and Cool Carbon for initial bite. OE pads are extreme and hard to modulate IMO. Cool Carbons are extremely smooth and easy to modulate, but some people think there's not enough initial bite. Stoptech pads are in between. I personally love Cool Carbons, but someone else might prefer the Stoptechs.

Cool Carbon is not a dustless pad but rather one that has ingredients that are much less attracted to wheels. Friction level and stopping capabilities cold are greater than OE but without the sudden grabby feeling of the OE. Friction level and bite actually increase with heat making for a great Street Performance pad for both the daily driver and as well for aggressive driving. We sell multiple brands but CC is always our top pick and what we use on our own cars. Please call or PM and we would be happy to assist you further for best choice for your driving style

R4-S is a high performance street pad that is both quiet and low dust. It also offers great stopping power with very low pedal effort. In addition, it is very rotor friendly. DS2500 is more of a high performance street/light track day/clubsport pad than a street pad with more dust and a bit of noise if not bedded in properly. |
