My car started production today (), August 24. It had been set for week 36 so I think they're running a little ahead (36 is next week I think).

The PCD date I was offered was Friday, October 28, so its approx. 2 months from the start of build to PCD delivery. I actually am PCD on November 2 because Oct. 28 had a conflict for me.

Congrats to all who are waiting as patiently as possible for their 1M to build!

I'm not sure how the thread host wanted the overall list updated by the rest of us so I didn't - sorry if that's out of sync.

I think my car went in production today too. also moved from week 36 to today.

But looks like my CA havent got me the PCD date yet.

if you are saying Oct 28 is open, I wish I can take it.

I shoot an email to my CA about Oct 28 is open, I hope he gets it for me.

If I decided not to do PCD (because it's all booked up), can the car ship to my local dealership for delivery?

the way I imagined it is seeing the list and then trying to get a date near another 1M owner or seeing the list and knowing who to look out for when you are down there too....le sigh
LOL, I’m finding reading comprehension and general desire to pay attention to be pretty low here. We all must be just too distracted with obsessively tracking allocations and production statuses.

I’ll volunteer to start a new thread to be stickied for just tracking PCD dates and from there we can reference the FAQ thread (and have that thread de-sticked). And I’ll monitor and update the first post with updates like Papethova is doing with the extended warranty group buy.

Will that make it easier for everyone?

Whelp looks like my CA didn't bother checking when he could schedule PCD and has not done so yet despite my multiple requests. The ship my car is on is due to arrive in Charleston this Sat; Based on delivery dates that everyone else is reporting, it looks like it'll sit in a lot for 2+ months...

So fcking livid right now...

They will have an opening for you sooner than that. PCD dates are usually scheduled based on when the car actually goes into production. If your car is about to be at the US port, I would bet that they can squeeze you in over the next three or so weeks. Call the PC yourself and explain your situation.

I sure hope so. I called the PC 888 number twice now, once when the car first went into production and again today. Both times they only told me to have my CA contact the PC directly to schedule; When I first asked my CA to do so he advised that he wouldn't be able to do so until the car cleared customs. Only today did the PC confirm that this could have been done once the car went into production

Unfortunately the 888 number goes to a call center based in Cali so they really had no clue what the schedule looks like. From what I found on another forum where a PCD employee posts, it looks like the first free Friday isn't until the end of Oct. Period.

Amen to that, you'd think it wouldn't be to much to ask for them to at least know details about a major program related to the product they're pushing. A trained monkey could do better..

Thanks for the info, I'll request that as my date, or sooner if possible. Also shot a PM over to the PCD guy on bimmerfest to look up available dates. Hopefully some good news will come tomorrow.

Until the car clears customs??? I know ED deliveries don't get PCD scheduled until the vehicle clear customs. This doesn't sound right. He can submit a request for PCD with your date choice whenever. He can also call to do this.

The request sits with the PCD until your in status 112, then the PCD will either confirm your requested date or provide an alternate date. I know this for a fact because my CA provided me an internal doc that states this.

Yup, this is what they insisted despite me pushing the issue. I just received confirmation this morning directly from the PC that the only free dates they currently have 9/19-9/21 but receive an average of 20 reservations a day so by the time my reservation is submitted these dates likely will not even be available.

OK- all fixed... this thread is for PCD FAQ
other one is for signup which serge is running.

I will probably unsticky this in a month or so (around when production for 1M ends)

and then tag it propersly and make it easily searchable

Ok, I read through all three pages so please forgive me if I ask a question thats already answered somewhere.

My car is 112 status. Honestly, I have no idea what that means. I just put the deposit down yesterday. Reading on here though it sounds like it means my CA can now schedule my PCD date? If so, I guess I just call him and ask him to find out what dates are available?

I notice there are some other 1M deliveries coming up. Is it possible for more than one 1m delivery on the same day? Not sure if the list is to group us or let us know those dates won't work. Would def. be fun to share the experiance with a fellow 1M buyer.

Also, I don't understand why guys are calling the PCD center if the CA is the one that sets up the date?

Last, once the date is set is there any chance it will change? I'll need to buy plane tickets, schedule the time off work etc.

Thanks for the help!

Hey Robert. I'm also 112, but the main page of the order system hasn't updated from 111 yet. Once this happens, I hope to have my PCD confirmed. Next step is 150....actual production starts.

Your CA can schedule it either electronically or by calling. I think there is an actual request form the CA submits. I would give your CA a primary and alternate date or tell him/her if you want first available.

The PCD can do multiple 1M deliveries. I'm not sure the limit, but I think they have 4 1Ms. I don't recall coming across any last minute date changes, but anything is possible. I plan on buying tickets as soon as I get confirmation. Mike

The process of scheduling your PCD starts with your CA requesting it. He should be able to send a request now that you have a production date scheduled. The PCD will send your CA an email with the first available delivery date that is possible given your production schedule and the delivery schedule at the PC. It is possible for more than one 1m to be delivered on any given day.

Once you have accepted the date given to you by the PC, you will receive an email from the PC with information about the process. It will instruct you to wait to purchase airfare until 3 weeks before your PCD date, because up until that time your date could be delayed due to transport, VPC, etc.

Can someone confirm if getting the orange stitched floormats is indeed included as part of PCD? A lot of folks have reported that they've gotten them as part of it, but dunno if this is just courtesy on their dealer's behalf, or indeed part of the PCD 'checklist'.

Thanks very much for the info. Once the CA has turned in the request (car is 112 status btw) how long does it normally take to get a response back from PCD folks on available dates?

Anyone? Sorry I'm just wondering if I will have dates in a couple days or a month before I hear back.

Usually doesn't take long. I would say less than a week after it has a confirmed build date.
