Will 255/40r18 fit?
I got 4 continental ExtremeContact DWS(Ultra High Performance All-Season) 255/40R18 tires from a buddy, can I run them on the back of my 135i with out figment issues. I'm stock M suspension and M wheels.
Any input is appreciated thanks. |

The tire is too tall compared to the OEM tire size. You're like 5% bigger than stock, which is too much by most people's standards.

Pretty sure it will still fit tho. And as long as the rear tires are both the same you should be fine, your speedo might be off slightly however if you mess around with different sizes. Width is definitely not a problem, you can go as high as 285s with the right setup on stock suspension. You'd need different wheels of course.

I guess if you want to answer his question, yes. 255/40 should fit without problems.

Alright guys! I figured I'd be okay with the width but no one runs that large of a profile that's why I asked. Looks like when the time comes I'll give it a try since I got the tires, I'll hope it won't rub anything.
