128i M sport
Can I still order a 128i 6 speed with M sport pack? I tried to configure one on BMW USA and it keeps giving me an automatic transmission. Is M sport only available with an auto trans?

I think it's just a glitch. I got it to work by removing the automatic transmission first, then adding M-Sport. Be aware that some colors aren't configurable with M-Sport, though.

Isn't there an option with the steering wheel to have paddle shifters? Just select the regular steering wheel that doesn't mention paddle shifters, I don't believe it'll say its a manual, but its implied.

I'm in with Bimmer-Bob. I've done it myself, just to see.
You'll enjoy your car. Fun to blast around in and have fun with, on an everyday basis. I've been doing it for almost three years now. My only issue was with the runflat tires. I did replace them with non-RFTs when they wore out. Which color are you looking at? I have BSM, but I have seen LeMans Blue at my dealer, and I really liked it. |

I've reported that bug multiple times to the BMWUSA site managers, but they haven't done squat.

I see three pedals, just take off the paddle shifters under m sport package. What I don't like is that the images sometimes don't load properly, or even at all at times with different configurations.
Sorry about the size of the photo, new to this stuff lol.

^ Every time I click on the Summary or try to save my configuration, it keeps tacking on the auto tranny and paddle shifters...

Adding the M Sport package automatically adds the paddle shifters.

What annoyed me is that whenever I went to calculating payments with the car I had just spec'ed out, the automatic transmission came back.

Automatic is a no cost option, so I wouldn't worry about it when calculating payments.
Fantastic choice though, probably going to be one of the most reliable cars BMW will make for a long time. Low stress, no HPFP, no turbo failure, no direct injection carbon buildup, and generally seems to be immune from nearly every common BMW problem(other than cooling system at 80k-100k I'd assume). |

I just built one with a manual and M Sport. As others have mentioned, you just have to uncheck "M Sports leather steering wheel with paddle shifters"
