I'm a bit concerned

I noticed using someone else's chassis no. in the WW tracking site that it shows the date the cargo was booked onto the boat-

Status Port Time(dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm) LOADED ON VESSEL BREMERHAVEN 30/08/2008 12:29 RECEIVED AT TERMINAL BREMERHAVEN 29/08/2008 15:42 BOOKED BREMEN 04/08/2008 11:54

And given I'm meant to be on the same build week, I'm wondering why mine doesn't even show up yet? I figure given the Booked date is so far in advance even if mine was finishing it's build today (last day of week 35) it should still show up.

Any suggestions why this would be the case?

Oh oh. Same thing happened to me. My car missed the boat when other people with VIN nos virtually just next to mine got on. I just had to wait a little longer. Never mind, it's agony and a cliché, but the wait is well worth it. Hang in there.

Don't lose too much sleep over it - my VIN never showed up on the site at all. I took delivery earlier this week and just checked again and it still doesn't show...:iono:

Mattyv,

Make sure you place the vin in the correct place on the site. It only appears when you do a search in Auto or RoRo.

My order is on the boat Mignon which is coming the long way via South Africa and not via USA.

Mine was in build week 34 it only arrived at the Terminal on the 29th and that is when it appeared on the tracking site.

According to the schedule it should arrive in Brisbane on the 15th October. If its anything like my X3 that I bought earlier in the year it arrived on the 10th May and I picked it up on the 25th May. So I am expecting 30th Octoberish deliver from Brisbane BMW

Matty, In reality, your car wont show up on the site until it is physically delivered to the docks awaiting boarding its sundrenched cruise..:biggrin:

Hi Matty. I gather that is my chassis no. you used. I checked it on Thursday (or Friday?) and it didn't register at all. It does now & I only found out through your post to me. Thanks.
