$749.00 to PowerCoat

Just got a quote from my local guy to refinish my OEM wheels in a Anthracite Color PowerCoat - $749.00...... HOLY COW. Does this seem high to anyone else or am I just out of touch ?? Has anyone out there had their OEM wheels refinished and how much did it run you ? Thanks

I can get it done for about $70 per wheel and it will be perfect. Maybe things are cheaper in Georgia

Nope 70$ is the right price. you are getting ripped big time. Even in san diego ca i got a 75$ per wheel quote

how long does your car have to be without wheels to do this? is it a one day turn around? do you just leave your car on blocks for a while?

i got mine done here in SD for $125 per wheel with the white stripe... would of been 80 if i didnt paint the white...

does not include dismount ... of course u can always dismount yourself

Does the wheel get stripped of the original paint first?

I've had wheels repainted gunmetal gray before and the soda-blasting process left the surface a tad rough...

Yea, there's a place south of where I live that'll do a full set for $300, tax 'n everything. I've seen their work and its beautiful.
