Another crashed 1M

In Sweden. All survived. The driver posted the picture on a Swedish forum himself.

Sad to see another 1M crashed but happy that everyone survived. Passengers did not get any damage at all but the driver did get hurt. He seems to be ok as he is posting and writing on the forum.

Glad driver and passengers ok.

Looks like car hit a very sturdy poll sideways at a very high speed.

Pretty unusual.

Its a bit wet out. Maybe the driver bit it in a turn and this is the unfortunate result?

Its never fun to see a wreak. Everyone getting out is always good news!

He wrote that he had to avoid crashing with a large rabbit and then lost control of the car. Cold and worn tires. He said he crashed into a traffic sign on the side. At the moment the weather in Sweden can be tricky. Its this winter/spring situation and most people have switched to summer tires. Need to be extra careful in April over here.

Get the feeling the car was going faster than the 70 km/h sign on the ground. On the other hand a modern car do look much worse due to collapse zones etc. I did crash a BMW 330 in 50 km/h and it looked like a VW Polo (smashed). (not a scratch on me or my wife)

I like this post:

"Excessive speed had to of been the problem; it's hard to split a car in three half's.."

hard to split a car into 3/2's? I'd say impossible....

Oh my! That is one hell of a gnarly looking crash.

Really glad the driver and passengers are okay. It's a testament to how well these cars are built.

Shame it had to be a 1M.

based on the 70kph sign on the ground... I'd imagine that the pole used to have a sign on it

Must have been the Easter bunny!

For the record everyone..... if you see an animal in the roadway and it's not bigger than you.... then HIT IT.

Since I have heard every version of this... it was a bird... a cat.. a dog... a javelina (pig)...deer..... everyone says they swerved to save the dumb animal (showing the driver to be a not so smart human). Of course.... in reality.. most drivers don't want to look like a dumb human so they blame the accident on an animal... as opposed to, say... their own inattention... their speed prior to the accident... or... perhaps the fact that they had just said.. hey.. watch me do THIS...... to the passenger...

Hit an animal - comprehensive loss - handled as an "act of nature/god) - no surcharge
Swerve to avoid an animal (and end up in a roadside ditch or hitting a tree) - collision loss - SURCHARGE!

And of course... a tree causes a lot more damage than a rabbit!

Don't end up in a roadside ditch... hit the animal instead! ( Sorry PETA people.. )

Both pretty bad but I had to stop reading the 3er article when it said a 10year old was thrown 40 yards to his death. Sad… just sad. Glad everyone in the 1M survived.
