iCarbon Style E82/E88 Front Lip UK Group Buy
SSDD Motorsport are offering 20% off a carbon fibre iCarbon style front lip with enough people to make it worth their while. This should bring it in around £260 inclusive of UK VAT.

Hmm, looks OK, but it's a lot of money for a small lip. Not sure whether I like it or not. I wonder what effect it has on the aero of the car in terms of drag and downforce?

I'm afraid in the grand scheme of things, this is a cheap lip. Comparative in price is the Kerscher lip, cheaper are JC Sportline splitters and a Hamman style eBay lip but that IS NOT a bolt on fit, you'll need a grinder, no joke haha. After that add some £££ to the price as things are about to get nasty (price wise) such as 3D Design and Slek. No doubt 3D and Slek are great looking products and worth the money for the look but damn, they're nearly £1000! You see where I'm going...
BMW tax, you got to pay it sometimes. I'll agree, I prefer the beefier Slek lip to this most definitely but this one has grown on me considerably. For 1/4 the price I can deal with that. |

I would also appreciate feedback on this particular make and company.
There are lots of addresses on the web pushing this design. All of them using the same photographs. I'm in the market for one of these myself and want one that fits and looks like the original. Thanks! |
