1 Series is an E__ What number?

Silly question perhaps... but what "E" number is the BMW 128i? My 2003 325 for example was an E46... what's the '08 128i?

e82 for the coupe models

If its a coupe E82, if its a vert E88. The hatches are E81 and E87. For nthe three and five dorr versions.

Nevermind.. think I figured it out.. looks like it's an E82 for the 128i Coupe.

I think E82 refers to the coupe, and E88 refers to the Vert
