and the wait continues....

Hi all purchased my 135i in mid December and it had been built and loaded onto the ship. So far I don’t have any word about the car and it seems my dealer isn’t really helping much either. They said I would have had it before Christmas , then before new year... then last week and now this...

What does all this Jargon mean?

I am awaiting delivery still....

It's probably sitting with customs waiting to have bond cleared.

Hi, how did you order your car mid-December, and have it on the ship by mid November? Did you purchase a 135i that had already been built but not shipped? if so, you're lucky as most of us have to wait about 6 months from the order date to delivery!

someone had ordered it in Adelaide and then cancelled there order to upgrade to a 3 series and they cancelled the order while it was about to be shipped. So I scooped up the black little gem. Really 6 months? I know for a fact that this dealership has two 135i's waiting to be bought one red and one silver?

you're one of the lucky ones, i waited 4 months, it's probably in transit to Adelaide, mine took 9 days after DELIVERED FROM MELBOURNE 06-01-2009 14:04:00 <AFTER THIS STAGE IN DEC> so I would expect a call from the dealership pretty soon, hopefully.

A week to get ready jeez thats a very very long time. My mum lives in adelaide and have had so many problems with them. They are the only dealer in adelaide and every bmw owner has to go to them. How did they treat you bmw135nutso?

I cannot complain about the service at all they have been very good with phonecalls and what not, so in all I have been well looked after by the Adelaide dealership.
Although I dont know whats going to take one week to get the car ready? We do have a long weekend here on Monday so I guess maybe thats adding to the factor?
So frustrating because I wanted to go for a casual drive on the long weekend because the weather is going to be brilliant!
