Question for Active E Owners

I'm very seriously considering an Active E right now

I've looked at the bmw website and it says this:

$499*/month for closed-end, 24 months lease
$499 First month's payment
$2,250 Down payment
$0 Security deposit
$0 Maintenance1
$2,749 Cash due at signing

But every dealer I'm talking to is saying it's more like $3700 down?

Doesn't "$2,749 Cash due at signing" mean just that?

How much has everyone here been paying? I want to get this car but I don't want to pay any more than I have to.

It's usually tax title and fees excluded from that due at signing.
