Comfort access

out of all the specs here i noticed that hardly none of you guys had CA under the specs is that just a given with the car or is there some flaw that everyone seems to dislike about it
*given as in it is a must have

it's a personal preference. i love it. it's a must have for me. others would no doubt agree and disagree. some people will say "one more thing to break" but it really is pretty cool.

Its useless in my mind. Good for women so they don't have to fish around in their purses for their keys but useless to me.

I ordered a vert so CA was a must. I want to be able to open the roof from my office (I look down at the car) before I get out there to let the heat out.

Comfort access does not give any more features than the normal remote, its just you don't have to press the remote to initiate certain features. The convertible top or windows, sunroof can be opened with the standard remote.

I like the "shut all windows" from the door handle ... hate having to get the key out of the fob on my e90

I have it and love it. Not more fiddling pocket with handful of groceries. If i forget to close my window or sunroof after I am out of the car, I only have to touch the door handle and it will close everything for me.

Didn't know that. The way CA is written up on the site it made it seem like it was unique to the radio transmitter. Regardless, I like the idea of not having to find my keys in order to open or start the car.

Some like it, some don't, whatever.:iono: I have it as well, allows you to simply get in the car, push the button, no fussing with the FOB, kinda' kool. Clearly, it's not for everyone, as thus far, only one 'hater' has chimed-in.:wink:Just added CA to my sig.

I had a play with it at the dealers before ordering it. It felt like a must have convenience option for me.

Its something great to show your friends with. The look of people's face when you tell them you can open/lock the door and start the car with no keys.

Didn't know that. So when you get out of the car and touch the door handle to lock the car, the windows and sunroof also close?:iono:

I believe you have to hold your hand there for a few extra seconds before it closes the windows and sunroof.

I got CA because it sounded really cool and I hate fishing my keys out of my pocket after I've already got in my car and I'm sitting in the seat. (I don't lock it while it's in the garage, so I only need the keys to start it)

WOW thats great. So all you do is get out with the windows and sunroof open, touch the door handle for a few seconds and then let go? Do you have to keep your hand on the door handle until all the windows are 100% closed? I really like CA, but if this is the case I will for sure order it.

My TL-S had a great feature on the remote: when I unlocked the doors, if I hit open 1 more time and held it down all the windows and sunroof would open. I loved it, on hot days I would open all the windows when I was 100 feet away to let the heat out b4 getting in.

What about the question??? Thanks brah!

I think the window close feature is great. And $500 isn't much for such a convienent option IMO.

On a vert its a must..
Just the keyless entry is magic.
You dont get keyless entry with the normal remote unless you have CA.
