The DPE sigs look sick as hell.... just not in black
JMO, but I just don't get the black wheel trend now. Black just masks the detail of the rim. What's the point of having a sick looking wheel, then hide them with black paint :iono: Just reminds me of running black steelies in the winter. eg.... like in this pic... Not hating on this car, just an example of how the wheel detail is hidden. Maybe black shows better detail in person :iono:

IMO, black wheels look best on black cars for the total stealth look. Otherwise, I agree with inTgr8r.

I like black on black but then at times its too much. I would get black with chrome polished lip. I would have to see the set up on the car.

Apologies in advance if this is your vehicle, but that car looks like it was beat with the ugly stick after falling out of the ugly tree (hitting every branch on the way down). But I agree with you that black centers look good in some applications...just not that one <shudder>.

No apologies necessary, it's not mine.
I bought my GTS new from Carroll Shelby and with the 610hp upgrades it's a serious handful at any speed. If I had to do it again, I wouldn't. The Viper, compared to the European super-cars is (to paraphrase Jeremy Clarkson) a muscle-bound, knuckle dragging axe murderer. |

I hate to rain on the parade of beautiful wheels, but some of the wheels being shown will not fit a 128/135 as they have nowhere near enough offset.

My guess is that it won't take very long for most of the wheel manufacturers to get up to speed on this and offer a wide variety of choices. I'm thinking that the polished centers are a bit too much shine: |

I already know I would get the BBS RGR's in hyperblack to go with either AW or MB. I'm assuming that BBS will be about first on the bandwagon in producing applicable wheels. Mmmmm.......light weight and forged.......mmmmmm

I haven't dropped those from my list of consideration either
Either style is very nice and would provide a significant weight savings over stock, especially when paired with sticky performance tires of the non-RFT variety. |
