Car is completely shut off, but music

Today I observed very weird behavior which confirms that 1ser has a soul. I was listening to very nice music, so I press start button once to get engine shut, listened to a minute more, then press the button again to shut the car completely. Guess what? Right, navigation screen swung off but music continued. Okay, I used FOB to lock car, it worked, but music continued. I spent about a half of an hour trying different combination, starting, stopping car, pressing start button multiple times, but nothing could stop music. I love my 1ser, it has a soul.

Next time, push the "off" button on the stereo

As a bonus for those that didn't know: If you turn off the car but still want to listen to the radio, pressing that button will turn it on even if the car is off.

This happened to me last night. I did figure out the off button on the stereo as well. I figure there are at least 2 ways to start the music system, and some confusion can happen when its time to shut down.

This happened to me occasionally on my last E90. Just one of those IDrive joys.

Close door, lock car, count to ten, unlock, restart car, count to 30, then shut everything down normal. Radio will go off.

No worries.

Yes it does. I go out and sleep in the car during lunch when I'm really tired. After about 10 minutes I hear a loud noise like a vent flap moving in the dash.. then the small climate control fan starts running intermittently, like, zzz...zzzzzz...z..z..zzzzzzz...zz.z. The car is off, etc.

My Z4 did that (for about 15 minutes after cutting off the ignition, IIRC), but my 128i doesn't. Is there an iDrive adjustment to control it?

I had the same thing happen to me a couple of times. Then I realized it was because of my bluetooth phone.
