Awesome weekend man. Cant believe it all lined up perfectly time wise. We hit zero traffic and got to all of our spots and our arranged pick up were all on time. Lets hope the next one is even better.

Just curious. How exactly is the work gonna be carried out on the rear fenders? Are they gonna be cut and replaced or does it somehow get stretched? or what?

Cut, pulled out, reshaped, new piece of sheetmetal to fit the gap, then bondo'd up

Would you mind showing off a couple pics of the new battery tray and heat shielding installed versus the old one when you're ready?

Cant wait, your work so far is impressive man.

Did you think of just cutting and grafting in two stock 1M rear quarter panels? Seems like it would be less custom work.

Yeah we did actually, you should see the work order on doing it that way. This way saves time, money, and more time spent waiting on parts from Deutschland. OEM rear quarters cost around 2k-3k in parts alone(because it isn't as simple as just the rear quarters).

Just like any other projects there are promises and delays. I just received round 1 of delays... Not that I mind. It can sit there til May, that way I could just get there on a ride on the caravan for bimmerfest

I may have some pics up early next week on the exhaust.
