Congrats !!!
Mine is 4 and half month old. Her baby seat fits fine. Just make sure you don't get the stroller that is too big. Oh, one hint is put the stroller upside down and it fits easier. Good Luck

Here you can see the baby seat which can easily be removed from the car leaving its attachments behind

The child seats are great. When the kid gets bgger you remove the centre section and use the cars own seatbelt, so the seat lasts many many years

Any BMW dealer's parts department can order you the correct one
They come in both ISOFIX and non-ISOFIX versions

An added benefit besides the huge safety advantages of kid seats that I did not initially appreciate is the elevation that they provide -- this is especially important with the higher and higher beltlines. When I took out our kid seats my 5 year old began to complain about not being able to see out as well. A quality kid seat is a great investment IMO. They are useful for many years. You can always blast them off at a carwash (remove child first unless they are really grotey too), sell them on E-bay, give them to a sibling or friend with kids, or donate to a charity. If you have leather seats you may wish to put a towel under the seat to prevent the inevitable stretching and grinding. They did not have any long-lasting effects on my leatherette, but I have seen permanent marks on other cars with leather.

E90Fleet,

Would you be willing to help me purchase the BMW Child Seat? We can't get them here in the USA because of licensing agreements. Porsche seems to have the exclusive US license for that seat.

Thanks,
Sam

Isn't amazing how something so small can cost so much money by the time you buy everything

Looking forward to it even thought my life will change totally...can't wait
