Interesting that it has black wheels but not black glass? However Gabe over at Bimmerfile has suggested this is a mule/test car and the black wheels won't be available so I suppose this makes sense.

Haven't seen fenders look like that since E46 M3.

Meh. Makes me more confident I am going with VO. What's with the black wheels ? I'd expect that on a Civic...

I don't like the looks of that car at all. AW or VO for me but black makes the car look like a Honda to me.

Not sure the new pics do BSM full justice here--I still think it will be hot in black...

The stock wheels will really "pop" too...can't wait to see more.

YES! Thank you!

I knew my black 1M would need black wheels. Now I just have to figure out if they'll be matt or bsm.

Hard to judge a car in picture, you need to see it in person, particularly a 1-series (does not photograph well).

Man, not feeling the black at all. Maybe the black rims skew it even further, but I think least favorable color on the 1 ///M. Granted, it needs better photos and perhaps lined up next to the VO and AW, but from afar it looks to me like any 1-series, while the other two colors no matter how far you are it makes it unmistakeable you are staring at an ///M

VO is the best color to show off the curves. SP Blk looks almost like a 135i. The wheels too big for this car, sits way up high now. Kind of reminds me of kids trying to get the largest and wides tires in a car, just looks off.

I think it is possibly a test mule but not likely...but I honestly think it is a photo-chop of a 135i mixed with 1M.....American style headlights? I haven't seen any photo's yet of 1M coupe with that amber in the headlights. The mirrors are not the 1M's mirrors....and the wheels were the first alarm...at least for me...but I could be wrong....

^ This is a test mule. The taped up emblems on the wheels gives it away.

Whomever took those pics , a great thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks SOUTH for posting them, you know how badly I wanted them.

Furthermore I will not judge the car as a whole, its only how it wears the BSM

and I think its even better than on my e60.

^^^ Nice work.

Proves this car can look just fine when properly photographed. I personally like the "stealth" look. The widened rear track and bigger wheels finally makes the 1er look decent in proportions when giving it a quick glance.
