BTW, when you pick the BMWPS, you don't have to choose from 4 fucking springs, the choice is made for you. And I think my rake looks just fine, so yes, I guess we are both content.

Anyone else noticed how now that gas prices are down from the stratosphere all the big silly trucks are out again. The ones that haul nothing more than kits to soccer practice or a jet ski but are "best in class" towing w/ a little pee-pee lift kit.

I know these cars are somewhat similar (except the M3), but these springs seem to really get around. Wouldn't surprise me if some of the numbers have been discontinued and replaced by other numbers over the years. Makes me wonder about this so called VIN specific stuff.
Esteban could you tell us how your car is outfitted so others may know whether ordering your spring numbers "works" for their car as well.
I'm an '11 DCT, Nav, Sunroof. So just curious.

My car is pretty basic: M Sport package, DCT, Power Front seats, Sunroof. No Nav. That's it.

Call your local BMW dealer, give them your VIN, they'll give you the Performance spring part numbers. Tell them it's for the Performance suspension.

I'm guessing you have an alarm or HK sound system?

I have '11 DCT, sport seats (manual non-power), sunroof, HiFi stereo, no idrive/no nav, no alarm, headlight washers, xenon adjusting lights... I think that's it.

Sport seats come with the M Sport pkg. No ski bag. Remember, power fronts seats.

I don't doubt it. I'm just wondering what the difference is on the springs.

Edit: we all have our own different OCD issues. Lol!

Are you actually planning on getting the BMWPS? If so, just let the dealer figure that out for you. I understand wanting to know, though.

Yeah, my OCD/anal retentive issues are through the roof!

That's my plan but I'm considering the stiffer as a possible option for various reasons...

Hey swagon, when you mention there is not PS for the e88 vert. Does this just mean that nothing is formally offered but the PS for e82 would fit?

I really don't understand why so many parts are not listed for the e88s. I can't imagine the e88 having that much of a different set-up.
