Good luck with sale. I've imported 4 BMWs into Canada from USA-just have to know what you are doing. My last is a sweet 128 6MT w/sp pkg presently in winter storage too. Just for our American friends, Cdn$65K is now about US$59,800 with exchange.
For my USA purchases I questioned the seller in many details. They (the US sellers) sent me pictures, sent me documents and I cross checked CarFax. When I was happy, flew down to location with a Canadian bank draft drawn on a US bank. Seller and I went to his/her bank and sale was only concluded when bank told seller my bank draft was genuine. Therefore a potential US buyer should/could do the same.

Isn't warranty in Canada different? I believe it would not apply in US. Anyone know?

Hi the manufacturer warranty carries over to the US the maintenance items do not. Brake pads wipers etc oil changes .

I just paid almost $50k for a 2012 135i M sport with 6-M and iDrive NAV, Sirius and all that, and also paid to have the car Dinan'd stage 2 at Budds BMW. with all my warranties I paid for(BMW ultimate protection package, 3M clearshield, lojack, and leather protection) and the Dinan, I am basically at the $65k figure.
