So only Europe gets the LCI? Or did I totally misread that?

Oh well, can only hope 1M doesn't get this.
+1 I prefer the new lights on the 3 and 5. I do like the front bumper though because it looks chunkier and has more shape to it.

However, I still think the biggest problem with the 1 coupe is the side character line which is very high. It's way above the door handles and it makes the car looks awkward and taller than it should. It should be lower through the handles and visually that would make the car look lower too. It's a small thing but has a big effect.

I would love to see BMW take the JCW sub brand to new heights, and the AWD Countryman chassis would seem to provide the perfect starting point.

I would ask the mods to move this part to MiniForum (and maybe they will anyway). But unfortunately bimmerpost Id's don't seem to work over there, and I haven't taken the time to register (not much Mini discussion).

I would love to post on the MINI forums but as you stated, our ID's don't work on that site/link.

I can delete my post/pic if that helps.

If you look at the front of the car especially how the light bars or eyebrows angle downwards towards the grille you will see a visual connection to the next generation 1er Sporthatch the F20.
Even the refreshed areodynamics show a kinship with the next hatch with the longer central intake with the more curvacious brake intakes.
This of course will be the standard refresh , The M-Sport gets a slight update as does the 135i M-Sport with it's unique aerodynamics differing from the regular M-Sport.

The refresh is to keep the Coupe and Cabrio fresh that it sits well alongside the next generation model until replacement.
If you look at the 3er Coupe and Cabrio LCI you can see especially at the headlights how they have added some cues from it's new big brother the 6er, especially at the corners of the headlights in relation to the front wing.

And I thought the front of our 1 series looks bad >.>; At least ours has character lol

This one looks way too subdued, it needs to stand out more.

Concept ActiveE seen @BMW_Welt...

BMW Concept ActiveE one series

I was at der Welt, this last Tuesday. I thought you guys might like to see the electric one series - up close. The only thing this prototype lacks from the first photos of the ActiveE Concept in San Fransico is the M3-like hood hump/bulge. I was also curious to see the circuit board stripes on the seats and roof. Also the blue/red speedo/tacho was kind of weird. And what do you guys think of that blue neon grill and rear shark fin? Too ricer-ish?

ActiveE 1er coupe…

Blue neon shark fin…

And outside parked in front of the Welt was this eMini getting a recharge.
