Tire fitment questions

I am very interested in purchasing the vmr csl reps in the very near future, but am having some tire sizing problems.

I was going to go with the 18x8.5 all around, and am hearing conflicting info on tire sizes.

whats the best size tire I can fit on this... I dont want SUPER low profile or anything, and I certainly dont want it to look like tire isnt wide enough for rim like a motorcycle tire.

I also I'd really like to avoid any sort of rubbing... basically stockish tire/wheel sizing, but better tires, better wheels. And hopeuflly better ride without the crap rfts

Save up and spend more and get a wheel that actually fits so that you don't have to tip toe around tire sizes because your afraid of your wheel offsets.

I have the VMR CSL's on mine. Stock height (M-pkg) with 235's and 255's. I have only had it rub a couple of times on some pretty major dips at 80+mph

well if you get an 18x8.5 wheel with a 40 mm offset you should have no problem with 245/35/18 PS2s I cant comment on other tires but I have personal experience with the PS2s. but with 225s or 235s you would definitely not have any sort of rubbing. I also removed the alignment pin so I have an additional1/8 1/4 degree neg camber but it really doesn't amount to much.

Didn't mean to come off that way , what PositivPresur said is correct, a 235/40 F 255/35 will do fine.
