So how many Amish did you manage to seduce to the dark side?

I had an E46 rear ended and pushed into another car last year and after some research and a test drive or two I decided the E was just the ticket for my current vehicular needs. You need not worry as I shall return the the dark side, it's just a much more functional all around vehicle after you get used to odd styling and more with in my budget at this point in my life. I'd like to see you spray out your 135i with a hose, or haul 1200 lbs. of crap cross country while netting 27 MPG. I'm still a huge BMW fan, and eagerly look forward to complementing my E with a one series soon enough. For now, I'm actually enjoying the Element. It's like a hipster minivan. |

Totally nice read! Thanks for posting.
I'm going to save this one. BTW nice car! It's kind of funny really... here we think cars are better, but really are they? Yoda jumps up and says, "Hell ya!" EspressoBoy & Yoda |

Great write up Hugo...
One of the first things my mother commented on when getting in my car was, "Oh I love these seats"...but all that being said there IS one glaring (at least IMHO) part of the interior that they did scrimp on to save money and I am actually surprised that I have not seen it mentioned here before. The "cowl" around the instrument cluster is entirely made up of plastic. On the prior generations of bimmers..at least the E39's the cowl was covered in the same quality rubber coating as the rest of the dash.....has anyone else noticed? |
