N55 5" CPE Downpipe Dyno

N55 JB4 ISO, BMS intake, and around 50% E85 and the CPE 5" DPs

Peak power gains were around 12whp with as much as 25whp in areas under the curve. Peak torque gains were around 20wtq with as much as 40wtq in areas under the curve.

whats going on between 6-6.5k RPMs on the two runs with the DP?

surprising how early the car hits peak HP, begins tapering down after 5k rpms...

Yep.

I know it can be done and I want to believe that that is the secret to getting the N55 over the 400whp mark. Maybe not by much, but seeing that he is within 20whp with 50% and an intake and DP, its gotta be in there, lol.

I am thinking the trick is full FBO, and a 70/30 mix. I keep seeing guys (myself included) hitting the 380 mark, and me at 386 is close, but no cigar.

In about 2 months I should have the new FMIC on, and will be pushing the limits and doing my best to pop 400. We shall see.
