Ugh, it never ends........

Went up to the beach this past weekend and stayed at a cottage with lots of trees around. Needless to say, my car got covered with tiny sap droplets (no big drips from what I can see).

When cleaning the windows off, it seemed to have more of a greasy quality than a solid/hard quality. I'm somewhat freshly Rejex'd (couple of months ago) so hopefully a good wash is all I need.

I experimented on one side mirror cap with some quick detailer and a MF cloth and it seemed to come off fairly easily. I'm going to wash it tonight and I'll keep everyone posted.

Hmmm, never tried the stuff on myself before but if it gets you out of bathing for a couple of months it might be worth a shot.

I had the same thing happen to me when I was down in the Asheville, NC area a few weeks ago. Parked the Touring under a big honkin' tree, and while it kept it out of the sun it also dripped sap onto its pretty Orient blue paint.

Didn't bring the bottle of Griots quick detailer with me, but I did have P21s Paint Cleanser.

I never leave home without that stuff. It's fabulous.

A regular wash took care of the sap issue. Shows the importance of always having a somewhat fresh LSP.
