I've noticed that too about M-Sport packages. Btw... thanks for all the recent GREAT pics!

No problem!

By the way, guys. I've found out that BMW is going to have a few models made for their 100th anniversary next year. Specifically it is the 3.0 CSL, Z8, 2002tii, M1, 328 and 507 (all in 1:18). The shop from where I bought the 1 M lists them as available for pre-orders. I emailed the guy yesterday and he said he doesn't know the manufacturer of the models.

Dack I spotted the folowing model was also available from the BMW Museum online shop.

"VA13403 CORGI E30 BMW 325i Sport"

I was just as suprised to see the Corgi model as well as the three 1:18 BMW 1 Series M Coupes as they are not avalaible to order through the BMW Dealerships.

There are also a load of Classic Mini models avalaible through the BMW Museum online shop as well, although most Classic Mini owners would not think to look on the website as they hate the new MINI.

Yep! That is why I always pop into the Welt's Gift Shop and walk across the street to the Museum's Gift Shop to see what they have. Often times, I'll see something new in one shop, and not the other store.

I found this link for that e30 model...

I have just bought a model of a Corgi E30 325i Sport and it is terrible, it only cost me £12.40 with P+P on eBay so I can't really moan.

I bought it because know one else has even made the E30 325i Sport with the Mtech II body kit.

I was just suprised to see it availble on the online Museum's Gift Shop website.

I have been hounding Max Riviera Blue at Minichamps to make one but I am not sure if he will or not, although there are two more 1:43 Minichamps E30's due for releae so I will have to wait and see.

Jeff Koons E92 M3 GT2 BMW Art Car

This is another 1:18 model that I own although I have nicked the photo from the internet, it was very hard model to get as BMW only supplied its German customers before they had all sold out.

I had it on pre order for almost a year before it was released, a person called Munchen used to give out all of the new model releases on the internet before anyone else but he seems to have disappeared.

Spark models are supposed to be releasing a 1:43 version but I don't think it will ever happen.

I am not sure how often you go to the two shops, please could you take some photos of any of the new "BMW MINI" models if you get the time next time you go?

My sister is going to Neuschwanstein Castle next week, she is travelling by train from Munich airport to Neuschwanstein Castle which goe's past BMW Welt.

Also my sister has just passed her driving test but she is not interested in cars at all so she won't be stopping of to buy me me a model

I usually end up going to the Welt about once every month. Sometimes more often sometimes less. I've been twice this month... so I am not sure when my next visit will be. My buddies joke around that the BMW Welt is my 2nd home.

Which model MINI Cooper do you want? I have some friend's who work for BMW. Maybe I can order you one.

Thank you I have every single 1:43 there has ever been released from BMW and Minichamps, it would just be nice to see some photos of them in the shop display's as I am unlikley to travel over from the UK.

swagon mentioned these models that are due next year.

1:18 "BMW Classic Collection"

BMW 2016 celebrates its 100th anniversary and plans to produce a series of 5 different classic cars in scale 1/18.

BMW 3.0 CSL 1971
BMW 328 1937
BMW 507 1955
BMW M1 1978
BMW Z8 1999

I emailed the shop to see if they would let me know the BMW part numbers in advance but they brushed me of, I don't seem to be able to get a foot in the door when it comes to the BMW Lifestyle website either.

It may help to know the BMW part numbers before hand before they are released although the way BMW sold the Jeff Koons Art Car makes me think the rest of us in the World outside Germany may not get these models even if we do pre order them.

If your friend's who work for BMW could give you the part numbers it would help a hell of a lot, I can also keep the info to my self and swagon hush hush

BMW actually puts out a big thick book(~100 or so pages) on all their die-cast model cars. Maybe I can stop by a dealer or two in my area and see what they have for me.

Close... but not the one. There is another publication that has more diecast models in it. I've asked some BMW friends IF they know of a url link.

They have stopped making the Miniatures magazine for the Dealerrships as far as I know, at least in the UK anyway.

We only get the Lifestyle magazine with the Miniatures at the end of the magazine in the UK.

My brother gifted me a blue 1:18 135i (pre LCI) with style 264 wheels. It's as close as I can get to my Le Mans Blue 135is with the 313s without going the custom route. I forgot who made it though but I feel it's pretty high quality.

Hey guys... feel free to post your own model cars that you collect in this thread. I think we are all just a bunch of kids when it comes to these model cars/toys!
