HID Warranty Issue?

Quick and Easy question.

I have the Alpine HID's installed and cleanly wired. Do I need to worry at all when taking it in for Service / Warranty work? Should I remove it 'just in case', or is that more for Engine/Drivetrain related mods?

Well it goes without saying that anything you installed will be excluded from warranty coverage, and everything in the chain of items connected to and related to what you installed CAN be questioned and blamed to the result of the dealer denying you coverage.

Your car burns up due to a wiring harness meltdown, the dealer's probably going to blame your HID install. Your battery goes dead next week, the dealer is probably going to blame your HID install.

Just a simple fact of life for the modder.
