I understand. However, mine is just over 43,000 miles which is just barely over your ideal 37K. Just saying....You won't find a better price than mine, that I am confident of.

Have a great e82 that I would consider selling. My 2008 is Jet Black with Lemon Leather. It's a rare and gorgeous combination. The car was ordered in Germany with US specs to later be brought stateside. The car has had all BMW maintenance and only 34K miles. All maintenance was performed at the dealer in Germany and BMW of Alexandria in VA. 6 speed manual, premium package, cold weather package, sunroof, etc. The car is immaculate at all times since I have a bunch of vehicles. Contact me if you would like pictures and additional info.

Being a 135i owner i suggest the following advice be taken into account.

N54 or N55 choose what makes you happy

If possible try to avoid the NAV. It gives you more center console space and the extra cup holder.

Try to get an 09 or newer M sport so you get the black headliner. Not 100% sure but I believe you could get the black headliner in 09

I realize. However, a convertible is a much better option if you want attention.

Agree! I don't recommend getting any car for attention at all. Unless it's a Miata - research shows chicks dig them.

Um.

I have owned a number of cars.

IMHO, the only reason to buy a BMW is to be seen in a BMW. A convertible, more so.

The roads in the US don't really support driving 125 MPH (200 KPH), and so the BMW is wasted as a machine, unless you track it regularly.

Back when cars weighed less than 2500 lbs, had a relatively low center of gravity, and were generally tossable, it was fun to drive a twisty road in such a machine.

With safety trumping all else, I expect those days are gone.

However, the small "Executive Car" that the 1 Series represents still carries a bit of panache.

I imagine a Miata attracts guys (straight and gay) to the car, while the current muscle car triumvirate also gets guys' (motorheads) attention, as well as the Corvettes, GTs, and the various Japanese boy racer cars from low to high end.

The OP may want to attract guys, or motorhead girls, with a BMW coupe. But the OP will be seen in a convertible, good, bad, or indifferent. It really comes down to what class of people one wishes to connect with, and through which conversation angle.

Selling my sapphire black, 135 m-sport, 6mt. Has 19k miles.. no accidents, non-smoker car. Adult owned and located in Redondo Beach.

Covered by BMW Gold Extended Warranty through 10/17 or 70k miles.

If you don't want the BMW extended warranty or 19" Advan's I'm willing to drop the price some.
