Car part is showing a bunch of results today. Maybe when one is less than an hour drive, i'll go pick it up. i could do the work myself, nothing seems too complicated about it. That swedish website confuses me still hahah.

135i brakes offer no performance advantages than 128i brakes.

Common misconception.

Add better pads on a 128i and you'll out perform the 135i oem.

Still waiting for Evolve to find out tuning for a N51

I guess because of the lighter weight, the 135i brakes are heavier than 128i calipers.

For the N51 I would go to AA,Eurocharged, OE tuning over Evolve. They have first hand experience with n51.
I did Evolve because they did n52 125i in UK( on about 3 125i cars) and I was tired of seeing just the usual suspects and lack of documentation for other tunes.
Also I had a local guy tell me he did Evolve in early 2012 and had to send it back because they didnt cook the tune at that time and he got no change for DISA + n52.

Not about the eurobox, I did tell them before the tune that I want an intake factored into the file. So not having an intake was a bottle neck for me.

And i did used Eurobox because I like its look and I found it cheaper than Afe magnum Si closed box.

The only advantage the Afe SI are:
- its filter has more surfaces/larger
- 2 holes infront of box to simulate advatage of BMP Intake ( 17% more air flow of from larger snorkel)
- Smooth hose into Throttle body without air sound Muffler ( more noise)

I will see about dyno results for sure. Only the recent AA tune post had the Eruobox. But not a Before vs After comparison

I just want someone who can take advantage of the DISA

Look up dyno posts by each tuner.
AA perhaps has the most recent tune. OE tuning/Eurocharged are not sponsors so their dynos are old on e90post/1addicts. But their tunes are cheaper. Also OE has a blog with dynos.

If you want to be a gunea pig, May i suggest http://www.p-torque.co.uk/
They have remote tuning like Evolve and cost the same. Their 125i are some of the highest tuned ones that may be just above Evolve

ED:
Despite all the negatives, questionable improvement & respectable opinions. I really did stumble upon a deal that I had to take. It wasn't just calipers it was also pads + rotors. The whole kit has just 35 km!(yes its documented from a 2011 car updated to BMP brakes) + 2 yr parts warranty since this was a dealership (yes I know, its surprising). Total cost was not much more expensive than 128i OEM replacement brake pad + rotors.
Cant wait for April to try this maintenace + upgrade

Use google translate and duplicate your initial email

DO NOT CLICK Inquiry, it is almost like BUY. Send email to them via contact info with link and Stock #. Also you can use their official Yard websites.

I used this yard: http://www.atracco.se/
Zimon Inge and Daniel Jansson corresponded with me. Zimon Inge finished the transaction. Their websites Visa interface is confusing and shows up with lots of Zeros in the USD conversion. So please be slow using it.

whats a good cheap mod with high resale value? Wanna do something to my car but I should be saving up for my next car I will be purchasing at the end of this year >_>.

I'm thinking either CF front lip for e87 non m-sport, or LCI tails, or maybe depo headlights.

Enjoy the slower and worse performing car!

Also, I can't(or maybe I can) believe any 135i owner would be dumb enough to buy the BMW P brakes.

Anything used, if you don't get ripped off, should sell for what you bought it for.

You shouldn't do any mod if you're going to unload the car at year's end... You'll never recoup the money spent.

Lol. Noted on performance. The price was right to get this, otherwise it wouldn't be a deal
They told me the story. Its a dealer outside of the city, low interest for 135i on their lot. So they pimped the car to sell it.

I would not do depo's because not alot of Halogen cars out there.

I am intrigued by the e87 lip path. If you put that in the FS section people will be curious. The downside is that its not a 135i lip to resell it quick. Maybe risk the Cyba 1m lip or what ever they call it their new lip/diffuser

I think Blackline LCI tails hold their value well too & just look great.

The next mod is suspension.

ya thats true. Thats why I wasn't expecting to spend more than 300.

I might just buy white plasti dip and paint my oz for fun. I've always liked white rims on a red car.

a problem I've been having with my car is that it smells like gasoline when I turn it on. It smells pretty strong and my mom complained she was getting dizzy.

Not sure what it could be : (. Maybe I am running too rich? I use 93 gas(here we only have 87 or 93). Maybe exhaust leak?

Car runs on 93 fine in stock form, it is all mine ever gets.

Does it smell inside and outside, or just one? Any obvious puddles? How many miles?

I would say both inside and out, but mostly outside(especially if you roll down the window). Its only for the first minute or so and then goes away. No puddles that I can see. I have 32,000 miles. I have been running the magnaflow exhaust for about 10,000 and injen intake for about 15,000.

I remember someone mentioned to me at a stoplight years ago(before magnaflow exhaust) that it smelled as if my catalytic converted had gone out.. but my car doesn't have any codes or anything. When I got my exhaust installed the dealer checked for leaks and found nothing..

I found this online

"If the exhaust billows white smoke for a few seconds when first starting the engine after it has been sitting for a while, such as overnight, and then runs normally, it could mean that the rubber valve stem seals have perished - especially if the vehicle is a few years old and has done over 60/70,000 miles. Another clue is: does the exhaust smoke smell like fresh, rather than burnt oil."
