Thanks Ian. Sounds ok with open revs but under load it turns into a completely different monster. Personally I think it's too loud but most that have it really like it. My brother in law says it sounds the way a performance BMW should sound.

Anyway I think it will be for sale soon or I may just put a muffler on it.

I just put my iphone on the concrete floor and everytime I revved the car the back pressure from the exhaust made the iphone shake.

Any chance you could make an hours recording, I'd listen to it all night!

It's probably louder in person, but this would be perfect for a track day when you can't hear the car with a helmet on.

Fitted my Berk Technology Midpipes the other day and car sounds really nice. I removed the rear muffler delete and put the stock axleback portion back on.
Car feels really strong as it also removes the remaining two cats.

do you feel a relatively big difference when you remove the secondary cats?

It sounds pretty tame as well!

It feels more responsive.

It is tame and that's what I like. Not too loud. I can make it loud by activating the CANflap via my steering wheel with the JB4 (golf tee mod).
The vid just doesn't do it any justice.

Sounds chunky Edwin.. Bit like my old 135i vert with the custom mid pipes..

Are you coming along Saturady to Advan?,, Would love to look at the Berk mid pipes.
