BMW Performance Kit

I noticed last night the BMW Performance kit for the 135i and 335i is listed on BMW's Australian website under BMW accessories/performance. I have asked my dealer to find out the cost. Looks like its coming here!

hmmm i asked the liftstyle guy at my dealer.. and he says his got nothing on his system... and goes it could wrong information... somehow i think bmw will not make this kinda of stupid error... going to give BMW Australia a call.. did any of u guys ask this at a dealer??

My dealer said the exhaust is defintely not available even though it too is on the site, but he is checking on the performance kit.
Said that they may be there by error as BMW is updating their web site to confirm with the rest of the world.
Bad mistake if that's the case...

Just heard back from my dealer who confirmed the Performance Kit, but not available here until the middle of the year. No price as yet.

I spoke to BMW HQ in Aus yesterday and they confirmed (via correspondence with Germany HQ) that the kit is due here 3Q. Specs and pricing should be know by dealerships over the next 2 weeks. If your dealer play dumbs or is just uninformed then contact bmw HQ is Aus and they will provide the hot oil. I think this kit could be great for those that dont want to fack around with 3rd party mods and only want a reasonable lift in HP and torque (they say 240kw and 450Nn for Auto (430 for self-shifter). I susect this will get the manual and auto both running 0-100 in around 5.1 to 5.2, which is pretty damn good in anybody's terms as a day to day runner that can still fit the kids in the back ...

Ok who wants to guess the Aussie pricing? You get an ECU remap and a radiator/fan, is that right? I reckon there won't be much change out of $10k.

Fair price about $5k but being BMW (need to pay premium, just because they can) >$12k.
Not worth the extra 2Okw at engine imho.

yep, BMW Australia realised that they peeked too soon with the enigne kit details on their web site ..so they pulled it down as quick as it went up .. I suspect they will have it back up in a few weeks along with ordering info and pricing. In terms of pricing ... europe has said around 2000 euro, so by the time you add Kevin Rudds "we'll punish the rich esp those in euro cars" tax take I reakon around $6-8k AUD + GST.
