Speaker replacement question..

Hey guys,

I have searcvhed and cant find exactly what im looking for. My drunk/idiotic friend got in my car and turned up the radio way to loud way to fast, so low and behold the speaker under the drivers seat blew. I now have to listen to music with the bass at zero or it pops like crazy. Even with the bass at zero it still sounds awful.

So, now the question; I have an 08' so I dont know exactly which speaker I have? And, since I am going to replace it I am going to go ahead and toss in a better speaker. So, which speaker would fit and work?

What would you do/recommend if this happened to you? Besides knock your friend out of course.. hahah

What you have for speakers depends on what you have for stereo level - ie base, premium, HK, etc. See here: http://www.musicarnw.com/start-here-your-car/

Then you can figure out what to use. Plenty of threads about the various upgrades people have done. Start w/ figuring out what you have installed.
