I am a newer 135i owner (2009, 85k miles). I bought the car as a weekend, cost effective HPDE/track car. I have upgraded the suspension and charge pipe. Now I am ready to add horsepower. I would like to be in the 450-500hp range. What modifications do you suggest? Also, want to do preventive maintenance to the N54.

you need a tune, Jb4 or MHD

and a race intercooler MAD or BMS

You also will need to upgrade to the Pure stage 2 turbo for that kind of power safely

Hi,

I would suggest a good flash tune preferably something designed for track safe boost and ignition targets made for long hard tracking driving.

Parts needed for a low temp track experience

Engine-
Intercooler preferably our 7 inch race
upgraded Oil cooler
Charge pipe
Downpipe

Brakes -
Upgraded pads
Stainless steel lines
upgraded frake fluid

Service-
Oil serv
Take care of all oil leaks oil filter hsg, valve cover
Diff serv
Walnut blast


Tires, suspension , track alignment.

Probably some more but those are off the top of my head.
