yeah, let them cure. Cool Carbon says that 12 hours is optimum curing time for the compound.

And yes, you can see as little bit of red on the back of the pads. Went a little crazy with the compound. It should be applied to anywhere the backing will contact. The pads hang down past the caliper a little more than I thought. Doesn't hurt anything though. Once you get a bit of brake dust happening it turns black anyway so it looks fine.

By the way, the CRC instructions say to let it cure for like 15 minutes. Not 12 hours?
