That's a shame, as I was thinking I would be able to lazily update a Zune living in my car from my PC using WIFI! Oh well, some day I will have a car that shows up as a drive on my network!

Uh... I'm sure he is referring to Steve Jobs locking down their platforms and putting so many restrictions on developers creating products for their devices, like the iPhone, and DRM'ed songs in iTunes and the whole iPod monopoly. Apple isn't a friendly company, they just have a good marketing department.

Does MY 09 support Zune yet? Microsoft introduced MTP which is widely supported by lead hardware vendors as Creative or Intel. I hope BMW can do one simple step and add the protocol in support considering that BMW software runs on Windows mobile instead of dealing with proprietary iPod interface. I also have MTP based Zen which I would love to see supported as well.
