+1! I've been using a basic TomTom One for years and it has been great! I just recently gave it to my sister so I could have an excuse to get a newer TomTom

TomTom for iphone looks like an interesting option. Incorporates hands free calling and ipod playback.http://iphone.tomtom.com/

I agree whatever you do "dont get a navigon". I got it and it freezes all the time. I spend more time driving around than relying on the navigon. It freezes so much to a point im fed up. Once you press the reset button, it takes 5 minutes for it to connect to the satelite. I bought the lifetime traffic update card, oh man its useless. I called customer support and they told me steps to reset it, which i did and it still cant connect. They told me to send it in and pay a 25 dollar fee for them to look at it. Not a good investment at all.

I have had no problems from my Nuvi 280w. Sleek plenty of features and very accurate. However in my area of germany GPS thefts are pretty common and I don't want to constantly take my GPS out of the car or hide it so I went with the far too expensive option lol.
