Either something is wrong with the install of the cradle, or it's the wrong one. There are two part numbers for phone cradle's, one for Smartphone 6NF cars, and one for cars without 6NF. You have the iPhone 2G adapter for NON smartphone cars. So that's why you aren't getting music. I think you need part 84212151043 which is the iPhone adapter for Smartphone cars, but it says it's for 3G. Double check with your dealer for the right number, but it sounds like you have the wrong part.
