Lease Questions

This is my first post (and this will be my first car) so sorry if the questions sound a bit naive. I have two questions:
1) I want to lease my 135i. So because of that, can I still order one according to the exact specs, colors and options that I want, or can you only do that if you're buying and I'll have to take whatever they'll be getting (not terribly appealing)?
2) I won't be ordering my 135i till mid-July to mid-August in NJ. How long should I expect to wait till I get the car? Is a couple of months too optimistic? Is late 2008/early2009 more realisitc? I know it's hard to estimate these things, but if anyone can tell me from previous experience what I should expect I'd appreciate it.

really you can find all that info on here if you search about but if i were you i would also call you're local dealer and ask what allocation they have left to give you an idea of when or if you can order one right away.. It takes 60 days to build and deliver a bmw but only if there is an allocation for one. Good luck.
