It was a 325Ci...thats a coupe..

The car was in mint showroom condition...

And it was at Sylvania BMW where we have purchased 10 new BMW's between us in the past years..

So we have a very good realationship there with the Dealer Principle..

Needless to say the dealer slapped a 2 year warranty on the car and $5.5K on the Trade in price and it was sold by the weekend..

He'd be waiting a long time in Dubai to get $75K for it.

This sort of S/H pricing is what you usually get/expect from dealers, at least they usually offer some form of warranty, need to cover costs, have their profit margins etc. to justify it, private sellers can never ask as much as dealers do for S/H cars.

If they're desperate to sell, they always come down to Earth

We should all flood him with inquiries and expressions of interest, and then stop all of a sudden.

How on earth did you get hold of my car for that photo. They're identical on the outside. Inside, I have black leather, and had a "special build" done to put Aluminium trim - I'm not a fan of wood.

My dealer has noticed new car interest has died. Apparently people who were ready to make a deal are putting their purchases off and those that were interested in buying a car soon have changed their minds completely. I suspect this is a good time to strike a deal. I almost wish my car was not on the boat!

If you want an 09 build as early in 09 as possible, then order one ASAP. Otherwise if you don't mind getting it later in 09 then I'd probably order in late Nov/Dec.

Garage List
2009 BMW 135i  [5.76]
After showing my dealer pictures of the new iDrive screen they still had no idea what was going on.

I too was questioning whether or not to buy an 09 model. But either way, if you have to order it, and put down a deposit now, it will probably not be built till 2009 anyway. I was told even if I put an order in straight away for a car, it may not arrive till February next year. So really, its only an extra month or so wait. They also said it will be here sometime March, but of course, this could be extended and probably will.

Now I guess we play the waiting game...
