That would be nice, but I just spent 2 weeks polishing mine after work. What a PITA. but we should set something up anyway

Nope, not at all- I used mine for quite a while, then sold it to a friend who helps me out on details with it sometimes....still works like a charm.

Think about it like a CTS 3.6 DI vs a CTS-V. The 3.6 DI is a sweet ride, no doubt, but the V is just in another league

I'd be down for that. I'm finishing up a detail on my new Benz- I'm pushing 20 hours over 4 days by now (with stuff in between, I've just left the Benz in the garage). Working alone on a detail sucks- my wife is wondering if I will ever finish lol. I just need to apply my Dodojuice Purple Haze wax, clean the windows and treat the rubber seals and I'll be done. I'll post up some pics after but the black is really popping.

nope, I took my JB3 out and cleared all codes before taking it in.

Just warning folk in case they take their car in for a brake light and the end up leaving the JB3 in.

I just got pulled over for having my high beams on (they werent on). cop asks me to turn my high beams off. I told him they werent on. I asked if he wanted me to turn them on to show that I knew how to. He said no and asked if I had ever read the manual. I said yes. He says obviously not very well. I insisted that I could show him, but he insisted I not. He stands in front of the car and told me to turn on my fog lamps. I told him there werent fog lamps on the car. but he insisted. So I turned the daytime running lights on. Of course he is like See I told you! I insisted they were the daytimers and showed him where the fog lights would go if we could have them. I then insisted that I show him the difference between all the lights and the high beams. He allows me too. Stands there watching me, still doesnt believe me. Yells at me for standing on wet paint amidst all this. Tells me to drive home with the daytimers on (fog lights in his mind) and instructed me to read the manual. What a duesche.

Hmmmm.... was expecting Southampton or something. Figured a Springfield cop would have better things to do than bitch about HIDs.

Finally got my RROD replacement.. the new 250GB 350. VERY quiet compared to the old version (which sounded like a plane taking off).

Andy, dual install day?
