I haven't even placed an order down yet but was told that my car will be built in the first week of June with arrival to the Western Region in mid to late July...

Haven't placed an order because the CA is waiting for the June 1, 2008 price change before issuing me my pricing... but I was assured of that production slot in my vehicle inquiry report...

Can't wait til it arrives!!

why are you waiting... that information is posted on bimmerfile already... you can already figure out your MSRP and invoice

So you are waiting to see if the price increases? I don't know if I'm missing anything here, but don't people want prices to stay low? Im confused...

The price will increase, that is with absolute certainty. I wanted to see my final pricing before making the deposit. Preferably, I like to see it on paper before proceeding with the transaction. It is my understanding that the June 1 pricing is not available in the system and that is why I am waiting...

my car was ordered after may 9th, so i will be paying the price increases, but the information is already out there for what it will be. sounds like your dealership pushing your order to next month for no reason. If you want the car now, order it!

there is no increase in the 1 model line, just delivery and some options.

Metallic Paint, Sport Package, Premium, and Steptronic will increase on the 1

Well i think im week 23 as well. I ordered April 24th, but my car only hit status 112 this week. My production number also gives me a screwed up 2005 BMW on OC. So we shall see.

hey! update on my car! i am in status 112! VIN, correct model and everything!

that means my car goes into production in 3 days! looks like a lot of us week 23ers are going to be earlier than we thought!

Where did you get the VIN from?

when i first successfully entered my order number in BMWUSA it gave me back the VIN

I cant find my VIN in the OC, my car started production on the 23rd :iono:

that means ur up this week as well, right? according to sticky in this forum, 112 means you got 3 days before you hit the line

well so much for that "stopped production thread." i just jumped to status 150 - IN PRODUCTION. Will be finished by June 2nd! I would suggest you guys call up that 800 # and see if anything has moved on your end!

I have the same estimated date as you.....my productionm started May 23rd...Kind of long...i think it will be completed earlier than that...or at least im hoping :biggrin:
