Quick ring around - finance rates
If anyone's done finance through BMW in the past two weeks or is taking delivery in the next two weeks and has been quoted through BMW, would you mind letting me know what your rate is?
I know CBFC has some cheap money compared to others at 7.95% for $80k over 5 years with about a 40% balloon but wondered what other people were up for. Thanks in advance guys. p.s. DELIVERY TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thum bup::thumbup: |

I got 8.75% a month+ ago through BMW, but can't help you regarding the last 2 weeks. Good luck!

I realised when I got the car I really didn't care and got over it.
Whatever it was, I could afford it which means I get to drive the Best. Car. Ever. |

I did it with BMW, not the best rate but I plan to be a customer for a while so I thought I'd start working with them to build a long-term relationship.
In the end the rate didn't really matter to me, as I got the car I wanted for an amount I was prepared to pay so there wasn't much point agonising over the numbers anymore. They didn't get the insurance however, Allianz was too far out of the ballpark. |

mattyv - that's a very competitive rate. Personally, I'm self-financing via redraw from our home loan. So our rate is 7.82%. Pretty hard to beat that with conventional car financing rates.

Only if you up your repayments on the mortgage to pay it off over the same period though e.g. five years.

Capricornia credit union do an equity car loan (20% required) for 9.18%, $130 set-up fee and NO monthly fees. It isnt bad for smaller amounts of borrowing. I thought this might help someone that is purchasing a cheaper car perhaps.

ANZ/Esanda quoted me 8.25% for 48 months today and my dealer claimed BMW finance would match it.

Cool, I'll mention this to my dealer on Saturday. We're looking at cancelling our 135 order and going instead for a 135 coupe that's on the floor. Thanks for the heads-up.

Phil tell them your bank offered 8.25%. ANZ finance have offered me that rate this week so they shouldn't be surprised

No only the rate you need to look at... but also other charges... the best deal = the best monthly repayment while all other things stay the same... A Better rate doesn't usually equal to a cheaper monthly repayment.....
cheers, richie
