I like it, interested to see how it goes against the usual Evo/STi. I'd buy it.
Makes me wonder whether the next 1M/M2 will be 4 cylinder turbo.

For the $25-30k premium, it'd want to have proper merc quality to it.. Tons of power stock though. Seriously impressive. Hope it's not too laggy lol

I've said it before, but i doubt the 1/2m if they come to life will be a 4cyl.. When the Mx35i's are n55's.. Unless they're a totally insane 4cyl.. Even then anyone who mods would get the 6... Unless it was REALLY special

She won't even sit in a M135, but reckons this may be look worthy.

Looks a bit bland for a current AMG. Better looking than the M135i but less unique (good/bad). I like the interior though

The CLA looks a bit too tall and a bit like a toy car... BMW makes better looking toy cars That said, I'd like to see one in the flesh

May as well throw this one in the mix too

I think the styling looks bloated, a bit like a SUV.

Don't know enough about the mechanicals to say anything on that front. But it looks Korean. At the other end of the spectrum, you have blandness at it's worst, the S3. Both are a styling fail.

That's 15 kw more than a 1M from a 2 ltr four pot. Not to mention a quicker 0 - 100 time.

With an Alfa 105 series about the max you can extract from the 2 ltr 4 cylinder engine is 200 HP, and that's with extensive porting, IBDs, high compression pistons, cams, etc etc. Okay I know this is a mid 70s engine but I'm just making a comparison in terms of advancement. This Merc' engine is producing over 350 HP, drive away no more to pay!

Looks great and still has a modicum of subtlety (something car design has been lacking for a while). I would prefer a car that looks pretty over this overly aggressive crap that passes for styling these days - like that 105, oh my word! As long as it handles half as well the M135i apparently does, they should have a winner.

I'm pretty keen on a JCW after my adventures in Melbourne - just wish they didn't look so over the top.

Not sure if Audis design team agree

I personally prefer stealth, but I know u M1 boy racers obviously don't

It's the quiet ones u have to watch

But they are not performance cars like the porkas etc but like our 1Ms, stock cars with bloody good performance. People who buy the M135i and A45 obviously need the access and practically and the performance is cream. In the case of M135i, they are blind too.
