Intercooler!
Hey guys ive just bought a XO2 intercooler for my 135i, I will not be tracking it, Maybe once or twice but thats not for sure. I am using it just for a daily driver. does anybody know about it? Is it good? Does it compare to the bigtom and the cx racing one? if it does then Im happy with it. I dont need a brand name intercooler since im not tracking my car. Please let me know what do you guys think. Thank you!

wear to the turbos is far increased with the stock intercooler piping, even with spirited driving. Plus a cooler engine is happier than a hotter engine.

I used to have the X02 exhaust on my 350z. It was a hks knock-off and I thought it's just pipes what could happen. Eventually it started rusting and fitment wasn't great either. Hopefully you will have better luck.

I"ve personally tested the XO2 Intercooler on my 335i once it came out just for the heck of it. I wasn't pleased with the overall craftsmanship of the intercooler. Everything from the the inlet/outlet design, welding job, and the fitment was not that great. You will not be fit the under panel back on and you will need to cut some of the radiator support to make this fit.
Sure, yes it was better than the stock intercooler. But IMHO, your better off spending your hard earned money on a better intercooler...even if you don't track your car. -Frank |
