That's because today's music is like today's movies! It all sucks. The only *decent* new band that I've heard in the last 6 years is coldplay, and only because I play piano and I like what they've done with bringing piano back into "rock"...but in the end, they're just really too slow for me. But as far as talent goes, I think they're the best (at least in the last 6 years)

Today's movies are pretty bad. I really recommend Memoirs of a Geisha however, that was amazing.

It's me encanta la gasolina, dame mas gasolina....
It's a very disgusting subject if you get it.

As for what I like--trance, house, stuff like that. I'll listen to lots of older pop, rap, rock. I like some rap from up north, but not the stuff down here.

I love Electronica, like Jamiriqaui, Jazzanova, stuff like that. Electronica feels neither pitty nor remorse, and I can dig that.

I seriously hate radio, and most of all music commercial. It's annoying to hear the same subject matter in toss, and most of everyone is all hype. I'm going to have to become a radio recluse. I just wish the Electronica show on KCRW came on during the day, during which they play Indie(Indie is OK, Antics, by Interpol was my first and last Indie CD). Another reason to live in Europe one day, get to listen to Minisitry of Sound(U.K.) and all that good stuff. Dammit.

The only thing they play that even resembles dance is sped up versions of pop songs and they turned that station into an emo station!

Dude! They do that here too! As if Kelly Clarkson wasn't bad enough w/ her wannabe emo songs. I honestly and seriously am considering DJ'ing as a hobby, so I can surround myself w/ this kind of music and never look back, to just be indulged and expanding on my creativity musically. Something I've never done before. Gotta get into it. I'm not so much a trance fan though, it can be a bit much if I'm just doing something like kicking back at home, electronica is just right. I should create my own radio station one day..."electric for the eclectic". Damm, I'm onto something.

I haven't heard good trance since 1999 - 2003, everything now is either remixed madonna or for gay men. I have a lot of trance from 99'-03' and even more house, but i have no clue what's hot in that genre of music anymore. Do you like jungle & break beats? try "Freaky Flow" it's jazzy and funky break beats with some great MC'n and tasteful skratch'n

yeah everything i have is 1999-2003 ! lol
I have a couple things from 2004-2005 and they aren't as bad if you find some without lots of singing. i usually stick to the Ministry of Sound Cds. I have some jungle, drum and bass, acid house, funky house, everything.

Go to ministryofsound.com, see if you find anything you like there. All kinds of interesting things. While you're at it, check out Jamiroquai's latest, "Dynamite".

Ahhhh i've always hated ministry of sound, they're to mellow for my tastes and i swear their DJs just throw the needle on and let the record spin. I enjoy trance albums whom are spun by DJs that are actually mixing the music, adding samples and adjusting levels, unfortunatly most of the DJs that do this only do it until they are famous then they throw the needle like the ministry of sound. "PAUL OAKENFOLD" for example, listen to tranceport 1, then listen to his latest crap . but on the other hand I own all of Jamiroquai's albums though
